Lighting now labelled in lumens

On 1 September 2010, EU legislation comes into force requiring lighting to be labelled in terms of lumens, instead of electrical watts.
As the UK's National Measurement Institute, NPL undertakes a wide portfolio of internationally acclaimed research that delivers real impact.
NPL helps many companies with their technical challenges; our commercial services are built on our heritage as a leader in accuracy, calibration & testing, innovation and research.
